a local organization, founded by a group of dedicated volunteers back in the 1980s. The Friends support and enhance the library by donating funds to pay for library programming, supplies and equipment. The Friends generally support purchases and projects not otherwise covered by the Library's operating budget. Funding for the Friends is obtained through membership dues, gifts and used book sales.
