Thanks to an agreement between the Ohio Public Library Information Network (OPLIN) and LinkedIn, New Madison Public Library is joining Ohio's libraries in offering free to our patrons.

Lynda is an online training service that offers thousands of online courses on everything from computer programming to project management including instruction on various computer software, programming languages, and business topics. All you need is your library card.

After logging in with the library barcode number from the back of your card, you must create a account by entering your name and e-mail address. With this account, you can manage your course history, playlists, bookmarks, and Certificate of Completion.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log in to gain access?

Administrators and patrons log in using their library card number and PIN or password.

How can patrons find or update their PIN number?

The PIN number associated with a library card number is determined within your internal library system.
Patrons should be directed to your library’s service desk for assistance.

How do patrons reset or change their password?

Patrons cannot update a password on their own. Have them contact Client Services directly
at 888-335-9632, extension 623.

Can patrons log in from the homepage?

All patrons must access their accounts through a library’s designated login page. Our
recommendation is that patrons bookmark this page.

Do we have access to mobile apps?

Access through mobile apps is not available for library patrons. However, patrons can access on their
mobile devices using a local browser.

Goodreads - A good place to keep track of your books, find new books from your favorite authors, and get recommendations from other readers.

KDL What's Next - Great database for book series, whether you just want to look up the next book or find a complete list. Search screen is similar to a library catalog.
