New Madison Public Library is an educational, informational, and recreational center for the public,
meeting the needs of our patrons and underserved populations through equal access to information, literacy, and technology. By offering a carefully selected variety of materials, diverse programing, and superior patron service to our communities, we aid the public’s quest for knowledge and entertainment while stimulating the thinking process and increasing literacy development.

Our History
.
New Madison Public Library was established in October of 1934. Since then, the library has resided in several different locations around town. Our current location, 142 South Main Street, was built in 1991.
